POLO
Global and food design, 2020
For my Bachelor’s project I designed POLO, the kitchen of symbiosis. POLO is a shared, multifunctional and modular space that combines a kitchen, a living room, a greenhouse and a terrace. All these spaces together form a symbiosis, a closed loop. The food is grown directly in the kitchen and the organic waste is re-valued in the compost.

Designing for people
With POLO, the idea was to create a space that adds value in people’s lives. That supports transmission of knowledge, facilitate bonding and empowers users to design their own space.
